Dr. Kehinde Oluwatosin Adeyinka
Dr. Kehinde Oluwatosin Adeyinka is a Radiation and Clinical Oncologist and an early career clinical researcher from Nigeria, with a special interest in genitourinary cancers, particularly prostate cancer.
Dr. Amiya Agrawal
Dr. Amiya was born and raised in Bhopal in the center of India. She is a MBBS gold medalist and has completed her MD and senior residency in Radiation Oncology from the prestigious Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai in 2023. She is currently working at Navodaya Cancer Hospital in Bhopal. Her focus of interest is Stereotactic Ablative Body Radiotherapy (SABR) and Radiosurgery. She is all about conquering oligometastatic disease, individualizing patient care and wants to break the barriers of oncology in India.
She is very enthusiastic about her Clinical Research Fellowship in Lung radiation oncology and Palliative Radiotherapy and Oligometastasis Program at Princess Margaret Hospital, Toronto.
She loves to travel, listens to uncontemporary melodies and is a fan of fiction and fantasy.
Dr. Said Al Saifi
Said Al Saifi completed his radiation oncology residency at the University of Ottawa. He graduated from Sultan Qaboos University and earned a certificate in Internal Medicine in Oman. He is looking forward to his fellowship in Gastroenterology and Lung Radiation Oncology under the supervision of Dr. Louie and Dr. Myrehaug.
Dr. Matthew Beckett
Dr. Beckett is originally from Atlantic Canada. He completed an undergraduate degree in biology at Acadia University and a master’s degree in developmental biology at Dalhousie University prior to medical school at Memorial University of Newfoundland. He then returned to the mainland and completed residency training in radiation oncology at the University of Ottawa, and is now a clinical fellow in head & neck oncology at the University of Toronto under the supervision of Dr. John Waldron and colleagues. His primary academic interests are in global oncology, health equity, and health policy.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Beckett remains an enthusiast for personal health, fitness, and wellness, as well as art, music, and culture. He is passionate about working closely with people, including his patients and colleagues, as well as his family, friends, and community.
Dr. Dustin Cruz
Dustin Cruz completed his medical residency training program in radiation oncology at The Medical City, Pasig, Philippines. His research interests include thyroid cancer outcomes and treatment sequelae, hypofractionation and stereotactic radiotherapy in gastrointestinal diseases, and cancer database and registry development.
In his spare time, he enjoys cycling, watching anime, and playing mobile games.
Dr. Antonio Diego de la Peña Villarreal
Antonio grew up in Monterrey, Mexico and graduated from the Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon Faculty of Medicine. He subsequently completed on 2022 Radiation Oncology Residency at The National Cancer Institute in Mexico City affiliated to National Autonomous University of Mexico, then he completed a CNS and Lung Clinical Fellowship Program focused on advanced radiotherapy techniques SRS, FSRT and SBRT at the Kingston General Hospital Cancer Centre affiliated with Queen’s University in Canada.
He will be joining as a Breast Oncology fellow at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre from University of Toronto. He eagerly anticipates expanding his knowledge of advanced techniques in radiation therapy for breast cancer and managing complex cases as well as Global Oncology.
During his free time, enjoys boxing, soccer, racquet sports and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Ruben Del Castillo
Dr. Ruben Del Castillo was born and raised in Lima, Peru. He completed his radiation oncology residency at Cayetano Heredia University in 2021. Passionate about genitourinary (GU) and skin cancer, with a particular emphasis on brachytherapy, Dr. Del Castillo manages a 3D lab in Peru where he develops personalized devices for brachytherapy treatments.
In his free time, Ruben enjoys cooking and tasting foods from around the world. He also likes to play tennis with friends. Dr. Del Castillo is enthusiastic about advancing care for GU and skin cancer patients through innovative research and clinical practice. He looks forward to contributing to these fields during his clinical research fellowship at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.
Dr. Mame Faye
Dr. Faye completed her medical training at McGill University in 2018 and her specialty training in Radiation Oncology at McGill in 2024. Prior to this, she did a Masters in Biochemistry at the Universite de Moncton (2009) and Ph.D. in Biochemistry at the University of Ottawa (2014) on the mechanisms of apoptosis control in cancer cells. Her clinical interests are in the treatment of breast and gastro-intestinal cancers, and her research interests include the discovery of targeted therapies sensitizing cancer cells to radiotherapy and their translation into early phase clinical trials. Her fellowship at the Princess Margaret Hospital will be on the MR-LINAC based treatment of gastro-intestinal cancers.
Dr. Max Gau
Max was born and raised in France. He started his residency training in Lyon, France, and he finished it in Lausanne, Switzerland. He defended his medical thesis about Head and Neck oncology in 2021. Lastly, he worked as senior resident in Geneva University Hospital for 2 years, in different radiation oncology specialties.
Max is excited to embark on the Fellowship on Head and Neck malignancies in Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. He is very interested in treating an extensive range of head and neck malignancies with a large volume of patients. He is also looking forward to collaborating on papers publications.
His experience at the PMH will allow him to offer the best care for patients in Switzerland.
Dr. Stephanie Gulstene
Stephanie graduated from medical school at UBC before completing her Radiation Oncology residency at Western University. Prior to her medical training she studied Cell and Molecular biology at the University of Toronto and is excited to be returning to Toronto for her fellowship. She has an interest in gynecologic cancer and will be starting an AFC Brachytherapy fellowship with a focus in gynecologic brachytherapy, splitting her training between Princess Margaret and Odette Cancer Centre.
Dr. Aarthi P Iyer
Aarthi is hardworking, sincere and committed to work with diverse experience in solid and hematological malignancies, with a specialization in Radiation Oncology. She has 5 years of experience in the field of Radiation Oncology in a hospital setting, treating both curative and palliative intent patient populations.
She is an ardent reader of non-fiction novels, especially crime, thrillers and ghost mysteries. She loves listening to music and she dabbles at painting during her free time. She looks forward to a refreshing and enriching year at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.
Dr. Randa Kamel
Randa Kamel, born in Cairo, later moved to Belgium, where she obtained her MD degree from KU Leuven. After graduation, she completed her residency in Radiation Oncology at the cancer center of the University Hospital of Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium. She is currently working on his PhD in the domain of gastrointestinal tumors at the same university. She had the opportunity to spend a year at The Ottawa Hospital for a clinical fellowship in gastrointestinal and palliative radiation oncology.
Outside of medicine, she has a strong interest in the arts and undertook evening studies at the Royal College of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Belgium. She enjoys spending her free time with her family, especially her two nephews, and she loves swimming. She is grateful for the opportunities and experiences that have shaped her educational journey.
Dr. Reinhardt Krcek
Reinhardt graduated from Medical School at Ruhr-University Bochum in Germany in 2017, followed by basic training in Internal Medicine at the University Hospital Düsseldorf. After that, he completed his residency in Radiation Oncology at the Inselspital Bern in Switzerland in 2023. To enhance his expertise in treating complex cases of CNS, Head and Neck, Sarcoma and Ocular tumours, he spent a year at the Swiss Centre for Proton Therapy at the Paul Scherrer Institute. Reinhardt's fellowship focuses on Sarcoma and Ocular Oncology, as well as CNS tumours.
Dr. Juliet Maina
Dr. Juliet Maina currently a Gynae Oncology Clinical Fellow at Princess Margaret Hospital. She is a Clinical and Radiation Oncology from Nairobi, Kenya. She completed her MMED at the University of Cape Town, South Africa. She qualified from the Collage of Medicine South Africa (CMSA). She received her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the International Medical and Technological University (IMTU) in Dar es salaam, Tanzania.
She has special interest in Gynaecological malignancies, Brachytherapy and Breast Cancer. She also has a lot of interest in oncology research and clinical trials including both retrospective and prospective studies.
Dr. Geraldine Murphy
Dr Geraldine Murphy is from Cork, Ireland. She obtained her medical degree from University College Cork in 2013. She completed her residency in Radiation Oncology with the Faculty of Radiology and Radiation Oncology, Royal College of Surgeons Ireland, training in Dublin and Cork graduating in 2024.
Dr. Vito Nicanor
Vito completed his residency training in Radiation Oncology at Makati Medical Center in the Philippines in 2023. He has a particular interest in stereotactic radiotherapy, encompassing both stereotactic radiosurgery and stereotactic body radiotherapy. His current primary focus is on CNS oncology, and he is pursuing fellowship training at Princess Margaret Cancer Center (UHN).
Outside of being a radiation oncologist, he enjoys watching movies, going to the gym, traveling, and indulging in diverse cuisines and beverages.
Dr. Gregory Paulin
Gregory completed both his undergraduate medical training and residency at Queen’s University. Prior to this, he completed his undergraduate degrees at Western University in Business Administration and Medical Sciences, along with a Master’s in Medical Biophysics.
He is a proud father of two beautiful daughters and excited for his family’s upcoming adventure in Toronto.
Dr. Ying Ying Sum
Dr. Sum is a clinical oncologist from Malaysia who works in a public hospital. She obtained a Master of Clinical Oncology (MClinOnc) degree from University Malaya (UM), followed by the attainment of a Fellowship of The Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) in Clinical Oncology in UK. She has a special interest in radiation oncology, and she is excited for the learning experience in this fellowship training. She hopes to apply her skills and knowledge from this fellowship to serve her community in a better capacity. She is also looking forward to exploring Toronto and making new friends.
Dr. Stephan Tran
Stephan Tran obtained his medical degree, and completed his radiation oncology residency training at McMaster University. He has a Masters in Pathobiology obtained at the University of Guelph. He is excited to enhance his skills to better serve his patients during his fellowship in Head and Neck and CNS at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre - Odette Cancer Centre.
In his free time, he enjoys hockey, golf and spending time with family and friends.
