MRI-Brachytherapy Unit at OCC

Dr. Greg Czarnota and Dr. Calvin Law at Odette Cancer Centre (OCC) recently announced that they have received approval and funding for a MRI-Brachytherapy Unit from Cancer Care Ontario. This will see an exciting transition towards using MRI at OCC routinely in the department for radiation planning and brachytherapy procedures.

Dr. Czarnota explained that over the next year, renovations and reconfigurations will take place in OCC’s  brachytherapy support and planning spaces. No doubt, these changes will benefit the patients at OCC.
