The Canadian Cancer Trials Group (CCTG) Annual Spring Meeting at Chelsea Hotel in April 2023 was a success!

We are delighted and proud to report that the UTDRO faculty were well represented:

  • Jolie Ringash – Joseph Pater Founder’s Award for Excellence
  • Ali Hosni  Abdalaty – Ralph Meyer Phase III Program Young Investigator Award
  • Laura Dawson - Plenary Talk – on Palliative Liver Radiation – a RCT which showed improved QL and survival.
  • Eric Tseng, Andrew Loblaw, Gerard Morton, Hans Chung and Odette Cancer Centre at Sunnybrook health Sciences Centre team – Phase III Team Award for PR19
  • Also, Michael Yan was accepted to the 2023/2023 New Investigator Cancer Trials Practicum

Radiation Therapists Gathered to Share the Latest Advances and Innovations in Radiation Therapy at the Annual RTi3 Conference

We are delighted to share the highlights from the recent RTi3 Conference 2024, held on March 22nd and 23rd at St. Paul’s on Bloor Street. This year's conference was a great success, bringing together nearly 170 delegates from around the world for two days of engaging discussions and knowledge sharing.

Our Department of Radiation Oncology, University of Toronto (UTDRO) and the STARS21 Program joined forces this year to showcase and celebrate the extraordinary accomplishments of our residents, fellows, and graduate students in radiation science.
