Congratulations to our Assistant Professor, Dr. Jennifer Kwan, for receiving the AACR-AstraZeneca Career Development Award for Physician-Scientists, in honor of José Baselga.

This award recognizes junior physician-scientists making significant strides in clinical and translational cancer research. This prestigious 3-year, $300,000 grant will support her innovative project on “Targeting PPAR Signaling to Treat Cancer-Related Lymphedema.”

“I am honored to receive the AACR-AstraZeneca Career Development Award for Physician-Scientists, in honor of José Baselga. This is a significant milestone in my early career as a physician-scientist. The award will allow us to reach our full potential in minimizing side effects of cancer treatments for our patients.”
