Victoria Anthes
Victoria was born and raised in Thunder Bay and completed her undergraduate degree in Applied Life Sciences at Lakehead University.
She went on to study medicine at the University of Toronto, where she discovered her passion for anatomy and found a deep sense of fulfillment in caring for oncology patients. In medical school, she participated in various research projects including investigating Gamma Knife treatments of intracranial AVMs and surgical margins for head and neck melanomas.
Outside of medicine, she enjoys travelling, long-distance running, playing piano, reading and crocheting.
She’s had the privilege of learning from so many incredible Radiation Oncology residents and faculty in Toronto over the last four years and can’t wait to join the UTDRO community as a resident!

Sagar Grewal
Sagar began his academic journey at the University of Calgary, where his passion for sports and wellness led him to pursue a BSc (Hon.) in Biomechanics. With the Sport Injury Prevention Research Centre, Sagar contributed to studies supported by the IOC, NFL, and NBA. In parallel, he served as a Faculty Representative and President of the Students’ Union. His time as an Advisor to the Prime Minister and UN Youth Delegate introduced him to national and global policy development.
Inspired by these experiences, Sagar pursued a joint Master's in Health Policy, Planning, and Financing at the London School of Economics and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. He has since applied his learnings as a reviewer for the Oxford COVID-19 Government Response Tracker and as a member of the Harvard Health Systems Innovation Lab. Following his graduate studies, Sagar pursued medical training at the University of Alberta. In clerkship, he discovered his passion for Radiation Oncology, drawn to a patient population he aspired to serve, while leveraging inspiring treatments and technologies. Throughout residency, Sagar aims to enhance his clinical expertise, while incorporating a health economics and policy lens to clinical studies.
Outside of the clinical setting, Sagar cherishes spending quality time with his fiancée and friends, exploring new restaurants, planning adventures, biking local trails, or enjoying a game of basketball.

Caroline Hircock
Caroline was born and raised in Toronto, where she stayed to complete an undergraduate degree in Physiology and Animal Physiology at the University of Toronto. She then moved to Hamilton for medical school at McMaster.
While there, she developed an interest in improving medical care for marginalized populations, specifically with people experiencing homelessness (PEH). She is excited to continue this work in residency, now focusing on oncologic care for PEH. She is exceptionally excited to be returning to Toronto and joining the UTDRO community.
In her free time, Caroline enjoys reading, going to fitness classes and playing Dungeons and Dragons. She looks forward to adopting her long anticipated cat at the start of residency.

Moudhi Sadan
Moudhi Sadan was born and raised in Kuwait and completed her medical education at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. Passionate about women’s health, she actively participated in awareness campaigns to promote better health education. During her time in Dublin, an interest in Oncology began to take shape.
Radiation Oncology revealed itself halfway through her internship in Kuwait, somewhere between attending a conference out of curiosity and realizing a deep fascination for the field. It was a “lightbulb moment” that sparked her excitement, and there has been no looking back since.
Outside of medicine, Moudhi enjoys interior designing, pottery, and gardening. Her love for traveling and exploring new cultures keeps her inspired and curious. Thrilled to join the Radiation Oncology program at the University of Toronto, she looks forward to learning from the experts, embracing the city’s vibrant energy, and exploring every pottery studio she can find.

Melissa Sam Soon
Melissa completed her Bachelor of Health Sciences at McMaster University and subsequently pursued her MD at the University of Ottawa. Melissa discovered her interest in Radiation Oncology through the CARO-CROF Summer Studentship. She is thrilled to return home to complete her residency training at UTDRO.
Melissa has a strong interest in clinical epidemiology and research, with a particular focus on improving outcomes and patient experience in oncology. She is excited to collaborate with faculty members to continue to develop her research interests.
Outside of medicine, Melissa enjoys playing music, running, and trying new food places. She is particularly excited to explore the vibrant food scene in Toronto!
