The Education Vice-Deans would like to encourage faculty members to apply for this year's Education Development Fund (EDF) for Innovation in Education. The Terms of Reference for the EDF have been revised.
The EDF is a seed fund designed to catalyze initiatives that encourage innovation, integration and impact in education as they pertain to the Faculty of Medicine's Strategic Plan (PDF) and to foster scholarship with respect to such teaching and learning initiatives. It is funded by the Education Vice-Deans.
The EDF is intended to support initiatives that align with our Faculty's strategic directions in education, including knowledge translation and that can be implemented broadly across our academic programs. Funding has traditionally been awarded to initiatives that focus on the design, implementation and evaluation of courses, programs and curricula including faculty development, continuing education and clinical learning initiatives.
