There are two types of Fellowships:
Marie Curie International 'Incoming' Fellowships (IIF)
These fellowships enable European institutions to attract top-class experienced researchers (PhD or with 4 years of full-time research experience) from "third countries" to undertake research in Europe or Associated Countries.
Marie Curie International 'Outgoing' Fellowships for Career Development (IOF)
Outgoing fellowships enable experienced European researchers (PhD or with 4 years of full-time research experience) to be trained and to acquire new knowledge in a "third country" high-level research organization (e.g. Canada.)
