The UTDRO Undergraduate Medical Education Best Clinical Teaching Award recognizes a faculty member who:

Demonstrates the ability to enhance teaching and learning for undergraduate medical trainees
Demonstrates leadership, mentoring and role-modeling
Enhances the profile of teaching in department/program
Contributes to undergraduate education above and beyond expectations

Note: Faculty may win once in a 5 year cycle
