RTi3 2023 Inter-professional Keynote

Sharona Bookbinder

Description

Healthcare workers bring a wealth of knowledge and lived-experience that influences the care they give. Let’s explore who we are, where we are, and how to rebalance, using the lenses of privilege, intersectionality and equity to locate ourselves in this context. Come explore behaviours that promote the elimination of intersections of oppression and inequality, to raise awareness of power differentials and how to bring equitable considerations into clinical practice and everyday life.

Learning Objectives

  • Recognize privilege and intersectionality in context
  • Learn behaviours to eliminate power imbalances
  • Bring equitable considerations into clinical practice and everyday life
