We are delighted to announce that Dr. Jennifer Croke has accepted the role of the UTDRO Fellowship Director, effective September 1, 2020. This is an important leadership role in our education portfolio, overseeing all aspects of training for our Fellows who bring so much to our programs while they are here in UTDRO, and then expanding our global alumni network thereafter.
Dr. Croke is a passionate advocate for medical education. She has a strong foundation of research and programmatic contributions in this field, having completed a Master of Health Professions Education at the University of Maastricht in 2018. Dr. Croke holds many education leadership roles including Program Director for the Princess Margaret RMP Observership Program, and co-Chair of the RMP Faculty Mentorship Program. At UTDRO, Dr. Croke had previously served as the Chair of the UTDRO Residency Mentorship Program, as well as the Associate Director of the UTDRO Fellowship Program. Under Dr. Croke's guidance and leadership, our internationally renowned UTDRO Fellowship program will continue to grow and flourish.
We would also like to extend our deepest gratitude to Dr. Peter Chung, our outgoing Fellowship Director, who has served two terms in this role, and has been a great advocate and support for our trainees. Under his leadership, UTDRO continued to expand our globally recognized brand and reputation as a premiere Fellowship training program in Radiation Oncology.
