We are delighted to announce that Dr. Danielle Rodin will be assuming the role of Director of Equity, Inclusion, and Professionalism effective February 1, 2021. This is a critical leadership role within UTDRO that serves to develop and maintain an inclusive learning environment with a culture of respect, civility, professionalism, and diversity.
Dr. Rodin is a highly respected member of our faculty and graduate of our own Residency Program. She is currently the Director of the Global Cancer Program and Radiation Oncologist at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, as well as an Assistant Professor in UTDRO. Her vast experience in working towards equity in global cancer care at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre will complement the success of the local UTDRO equity programs and initiatives.
We would also like to extend our deepest gratitude to Dr. Charles Catton, our dedicated Director of Equity, Professionalism and Social Responsibility, who has served two terms in this role, and has been instrumental in driving the agenda of the UTDRO equity portfolio. Under his leadership, UTDRO continued to evolve towards a more inclusive learning environment, with a culture of respect, civility, professionalism, and diversity.
Congratulations to Dr. Rodin on assuming this significant role within UTDRO, and we look forward to working with her in this new capacity!
