Lisa Di Prospero to lead JMIRS

We at UT DRO are proud to announce that Lisa Di Prospero has been selected as Editor-in-Chief of the international, peer-reviewed journal — Journal of Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences (JIMRS). JIMRS accepts manuscripts in all fields of diagnostic imaging and radiation therapies.  Providing timely, evidence-based information, the JMIRS helps medical radiation technologists advance quality and innovation in patient care.

Lisa is the Manager, Education and Research, Radiation Therapy, at the Odette Cancer Centre at Sunnybrook. As a founding member of the editorial board (and current associate editor), Lisa has a strong knowledge of the journal’s operations and history and, because of her research and teaching background, she has a familiarity with the multiple disciplines within medical radiation technology that will allow her to properly assess manuscripts.

Building on the tremendous success of the inaugural Editor-in-Chief, Mr. John French, Lisa plans to maintain the momentum of the journal as it builds in its quality, readership and impact. In addition, she aims to harness opportunities to liaise and connect both nationally and internationally to increase submissions and publication by not only the radiation sciences community, but beyond.

Congratulations Lisa!
