Dr. Mary Gospodarowicz awarded two prestigious prizes
In addition to being the first Canadian to be appointd President of the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC), previous UT DRO Chair Dr. Mary Gospodarowicz has won two prestigious prizes recently.
The first is the Lifetime Achievement Award at the recent meeting of the European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO) in Geneva.
The second is the 2013 Janeway Medal, an honour from theAmerican Radium Society, which recognizes individuals for their outstanding contributions to Radiation Oncology.
These are both well-deserved honours amongst many, which celebrate Dr. Gospodarowicz’s exceptional contributions and visionary leadership in the Radiation Oncology Community, on the global stage.
