Congratulations to Dr. Meredith Giuliani, who is the recipient of the 2016 Canadian Medical Association (CMA) Award for Young Leaders!
Every year, the CMA presents this “Award for Young Leaders” to only one student, one resident, and one early career physician across Canada, who has demonstrated exemplary dedication, commitment and leadership in one of the following domains: political; clinical; education; research; or community service. Nominees must exemplify creativity and initiative, and be committed to “making a difference”; being active and effective at the local, provincial and national level; and act as a positive and effective role model for their peers and colleagues. For Dr. Giuliani, the CMA Board of Directors recognizes her outstanding achievement as both an education and clinical leader.
Dr. Giuliani is the first Radiation Oncologist to have ever received such an Award since its inception in 2004! Well done Meredith!
