RTi3 2022 Student Abstract Requirements

Start Here

  • All correspondence will be sent to the person submitting the abstract
  • Students are required to submit only the first two (2) parts of their abstract as follows: Research Study (Purpose, Methods); or Practice Innovation (Aim, Process). 
  • Once the student has completed their study and/or collected the data needed to finish their abstract, they will email RTi3 Conference with the update to rti3@utoronto.ca

Before you begin...

Please make sure that you have the following information before beginning the abstract submission process:

  • Information for the presenting author: First and Last Name, Institution(s)/Affiliation(s), Position at Institution(s), Credentials Held (if any), Telephone and Email
  • Accurate author list/order: First and Last Names, and Name of Institution(s)/Affiliations
  • All details for the first two (2) parts of your abstract submission as outlined in the Important notes section - max. 1500 characters (250 words). Your total abstract submission should be max. 3000 characters, which is approx. 500 words. 

Research Study - Students

Criteria

Research abstracts are those that report prospective and retrospective studies using more formal scientific approaches. They often describe a systematic investigation designed to answer a question, and/or test a hypothesis with valid conclusions that are supported by the results.

Required Sections

  • Purpose, Methods - Due by January 25, 2022.
  • Results, Conclusion - Due after your results come in. When you're filling out the Abstract Submission form, enter "Pending" in these fields.

Practice Innovation / Initiative - Students

Criteria

Practice innovation abstracts describe the development of novel innovations and process or quality improvement projects that have the potential to impact our daily practice, our professions, and our patients.

Required Sections

  • Aim, Process - Due by January 25, 2022. 
  • Benefits/Challenges, Impact/Outcomes - Due after your results come in. When you're filling out the Abstract Submission form, enter "Pending" in these fields.
