Sania Walid Abdelqader is originally from Amman, Jordan. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Niš in Serbia, and then completed her residency training at King Hussein Cancer Center. Following residency, she worked as a Radiation Oncology Specialist for two years, with a clinical focus on thoracic and genitourinary malignancies, further developing her expertise within a multidisciplinary cancer care setting. She is committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care, with a focus on modern radiotherapy techniques and optimizing clinical outcomes.

Julie Ahn is an Australian radiation oncologist who trained at Westmead Hospital in Sydney. She will be completing a fellowship in Thoracic Oncology at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. Her clinical and research interests include lung cancer, palliative care, and equitable care for diverse patient populations.

Outside of work, she enjoys the beach, deadlifting and cooking Korean food.

Having grown up in Kuwait, Faisal Alfadli completed his medical degree at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in Dublin before moving to Toronto for his Radiation Oncology residency at the University of Toronto. He is joining the Odette Cancer Centre at Sunnybrook as an AFC Brachytherapy Fellow, with interests in gynecologic and genitourinary brachytherapy, medical education, and the applications of artificial intelligence in oncology.

Timothy Allen is a Kiwi from Hamilton, New Zealand. He completed his undergraduate medical degree at the University of Otago and completed Radiation Oncology training in Christchurch Hospital. He is joining Princess Margaret Cancer Centre as a Breast Fellow. He has a strong interest in equity and challenges faced by indigenous populations navigating health systems, particularly for Māori in a New Zealand context. I am looking forward to the insights I can gain from experiencing the Canadian health system. 

Outside of work he enjoys hiking and exploring nature, running and tennis.

Majd Alotaibi is a Radiation Oncologist from Saudi Arabia. She earned her medical degree from King Abdulaziz University and completed her residency training in Radiation Oncology at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre, Jeddah.

Majd’s clinical interests include gastrointestinal malignancies, upper GI SBRT, and advanced radiation treatment techniques. Her research interests focus on advancing the role of radiotherapy in GI malignancies, improving patient quality of life, and expanding access to high-quality cancer care.

During her fellowship, Majd aims to further develop expertise in gastrointestinal radiation oncology, advanced radiotherapy techniques, and clinical research. She is committed to advancing patient-centered cancer care and improving outcomes for patients with cancer.

Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, rafting, and skating, and she values opportunities to explore new places, and cultures.

Muhammad Awawda is a Senior Radiation Oncologist. He graduated summa cum laude and completed his residency training in Radiation Oncology with distinction at Rambam Health Care Campus, affiliated with the Technion – High Institute of Technology. Muhammad is a graduate of the prestigious Biodesign Innovation Fellowship Program affiliated with Stanford University. Since 2022, he has served as a Staff Radiation Oncologist in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Rambam Health Care Campus. His clinical practice focuses on the management of gastrointestinal and central nervous system (CNS) malignancies. He is currently completing a prestigious 2-year clinical fellowship in the CNS site group at the Princess Margaret Cancer CenAtre. His research interests include prognostic assessment and the integration of artificial intelligence into clinical oncology. He is particularly interested in the development and validation of biomarkers for CNS malignancies, with the goal of improving personalized treatment strategies.

George Cosman completed his medical education and Radiation Oncology training in Sydney, Australia. He has clinical and research interests in genitourinary malignancies, with a special interest in prostate brachytherapy. He is excited to commence his Area of Focused Competency (AFC) Fellowship in Brachytherapy at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.

Joshua Gnanasegaram completed his medical school and Radiation Oncology residency training at Queen’s University. Prior to medicine, he obtained a Master of Science in the Institute of Medical Science and Collaborative Program in Neuroscience at the University of Toronto. He is completing a fellowship at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre and The Hospital for Sick Children focused on lymphoma and pediatric malignancies, with additional training in adaptive radiotherapy. 

Alina Goltser completed her medical education at the First Moscow State Medical University before going on to complete her Radiation Oncology residency at Sheba Medical Center in Israel. Prior to starting her fellowship in Toronto, she served as an attending Radiation Oncologist at the Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center.

Alina is specialized in gynecological oncology, focusing her clinical practice on gynecological malignancies and precision gynecologic brachytherapy procedures. Her core clinical and research interests lie in female malignancies, spanning both gynecological and breast cancers.

Through her fellowship training, she looks forward to refining her expertise in advanced gynecological oncology and specialized radiotherapy techniques, including brachytherapy, to bring this vital knowledge back home. She is excited to collaborate with the team in Toronto on upcoming clinical research projects.

Outside of her medical practice, she is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hiking, camping, and staying active with sports.

Tal Kohen was born and raised in Los Angeles, California where he obtained a B.S. in Physiological Science from UCLA. He completed his medical studies in Israel at the Medical School for International Health at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, followed by a radiation oncology residency at Tel Aviv-Sourasky Medical Center (his current home institution). His clinical focus includes genitourinary malignancies, brachytherapy, and palliation, and he is looking forward to the year ahead as a GU fellow at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.

Isaac Kong completed his medical school and residency in Radiation Oncology at McMaster University. He is actively involved in medical education through the Clinician Educator AFC Program and enjoys mentoring students and junior trainees. Clinically, he looks forward to completing a fellowship in CNS and head & neck oncology at the Odette Cancer Centre. His research interests include predictive modelling, adaptive treatments, stereotactic treatments, and their intersection with new medical technologies.

Outside of medicine, Isaac enjoys cycling, especially climbing mountains, trying new foods, and gathering around a table to play board games with friends.

Rahat Malhotra is an incoming fellow in the Department of Radiation Oncology, joining from Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH), Mumbai, where he completed six years of postgraduate training.

He has a keen interest in oligometastatic disease and metastasis-directed therapy/SBRT, with broader clinical interests in neuro-oncology, as well as thoracic, GI, and GU malignancies. Rahat is also the creator of RadRisk.app, an NTCP calculator and re-irradiation planning tool for radiation oncologists.

He has cleared FRCR Part 1 and is currently preparing for Part 2. An avid coder, he is interested in the applications of technology in radiation oncology and precision medicine. Outside of work, he is a passionate Arsenal supporter and enjoys playing tennis. He is excited to join the PROP fellowship and looks forward to exploring Toronto.

Amna Mohaimeed was born and raised in Saudi Arabia. She earned her medical degree from the Medical University of Warsaw in 2019 and completed her residency in Radiation Oncology at King Saud University Medical City in Riyadh in 2025. She went on to work as a specialist at Batikx before joining a clinical fellowship in Breast and Gynecological Malignancies at Sunnybrook's Odette Cancer Centre.

Amna's clinical and research interests include the use of SABR in the treatment of breast cancer, as well as adaptive radiotherapy. She is deeply committed to patient education and to making high-quality cancer care more accessible to patients across the region.

Outside of medicine, Amna is an avid reader - One Hundred Years of Solitude remains an all-time favorite - and enjoys writing poetry, swimming, and playing racquet sports. She also has a passion for interior design and fashion.

Claudia Fernández Pedrero is from Asturias, a region in northern Spain. She graduated from the University of Oviedo and completed her Radiation Oncology residency at Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre in Madrid.

She joins Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and the University of Toronto as a Clinical and Research Fellow in Radiation Oncology for the 2026–2027 academic year. Her interests include thoracic and genitourinary cancers, adaptive radiotherapy, and precision radiation oncology. She also completed a two-year Master's degree in Cancer Research focused on the integration of advanced imaging techniques into radiation treatment planning and personalized cancer care.
She is passionate about medical education and enjoys teaching and mentoring students and trainees. She also completed international training in adaptive radiotherapy in Rome.

Outside of medicine, Claudia enjoys music, songwriting, meeting new people, and exploring Toronto with her dog, Joy!

Simran completed her MBBS and MD in Radiation Oncology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Raipur, India, and subsequently worked as a Senior Resident in Radiation Oncology at AIIMS Delhi. Her clinical and research interests are centred on head and neck oncology and neuro-oncology, and she aspires to build a career as a physician-researcher. She has presented her work at both national and international conferences and thrives in collaborative, multidisciplinary environments.

Outside of medicine, Simran is an avid football and tennis fan who enjoys discovering new music and exploring different cuisines. Curious and ambitious by nature, she enjoys learning from people, seeking new perspectives, and finding inspiration in everyday experiences.

Sherif Ramadan is an incoming fellow in CNS and pediatric radiation oncology at the University of Toronto. He completed his medical school training at McMaster University in Hamilton and his residency at Western University in London, Ontario. Prior to medicine, he trained as a mechanical and biomedical engineer. His clinical and research interests include pediatric and CNS malignancies, phase 1 clinical trials, and technology development, with a focus on medical phantoms and AI applications in radiation oncology.

Shivani Sable, originally from Maharashtra, India, completed her MD in Radiation Oncology at the prestigious Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. Her clinical interests include breast and gastrointestinal oncology, and precision oncology, with a special emphasis on geriatric care and quality-of-life outcomes. She is thrilled to join Princess Margaret Hospital as a Clinical Research Fellow in Gastrointestinal Oncology, an opportunity that will deepen her knowledge. 

Outside of medicine, she enjoys painting, travelling, and reading fiction.

Rawy Shaaban completed medical school at Queen’s University and Radiation Oncology residency at McMaster University. He is joining the University of Toronto for fellowship training in brachytherapy, with a focus on genitourinary and gynecologic malignancies. His clinical and academic interests include brachytherapy, stereotactic body radiotherapy, and advancing evidence-based, patient-centred cancer care. He is especially interested in refining expertise in complex brachytherapy techniques and contributing to research and education in radiation oncology. 

Outside of medicine, he enjoys travel, cooking, coffee, and photography.

Prashasti Sharma completed her Radiation Oncology residency at Dr. Bhubaneswar Borooah Cancer Institute, a Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) institution in India. She subsequently trained at multiple TMC centres, including HBCH Varanasi and Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, gaining extensive experience in high-volume cancer care across diverse patient populations. During her training, she developed a strong interest in head and neck oncology, particularly nasopharyngeal cancer, which is highly prevalent in northeastern India. Her research has been presented at international meetings, including the ASCO Conference, and she was awarded a scholarship to attend the Society for Neuro-Oncology (SNO) Meeting in 2025.

In July 2026, Prashasti joined Princess Margaret Cancer Centre as a Clinical Fellow in Head and Neck Radiation Oncology. Building on her experience in managing head and neck cancers in India, she is advancing her expertise in multidisciplinary cancer care, precision radiotherapy, and clinical research, while gaining exposure to treatment approaches for HPV-associated oropharyngeal cancers and other head and neck malignancies commonly encountered in North America.

Outside of medicine, she enjoys research, travel, and exploring different cultures

Nicolas Siriani-Ayoub is originally from Montreal, QC. He completed medical school at McGill University, and his residency training in Radiation Oncology at the University of British Columbia, BC Cancer Vancouver Centre. 

Outside of medicine, he enjoys brewing and drinking specialty coffee, cooking, and watching movies.

Originally from Toronto, Michael Sun obtained his medical training at McMaster University before completing his residency in Radiation Oncology in Ottawa. He is excited to return to Toronto to complete a clinical fellowship focused on genitourinary and gastrointestinal malignancies at the Odette Cancer Centre. 

Outside of medicine, Michael tries to keep up with personal health and fitness, movies, and digital art.
