On Tuesday, June 9, 2026, the Department of Radiation Oncology came together at Hart House to celebrate 26 graduating trainees at our annual Post-Graduate Graduation Ceremony. We were delighted to welcome nearly 130 guests, including family, friends, faculty, mentor and supervisors. The evening was a meaningful opportunity to recognize our graduates’ achievements, as well as the support and mentorship that helped shape their training journey.

Certificate Ceremony

This year’s graduating class included 4 Radiation Oncology residents, 4 Medical Physics residents, and 18 Clinical Fellows. Graduation certificates were presented by Andrea Bezjak, Director of the Radiation Oncology Residency Program; Anthony Lausch, Associate Program Director, Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, Medical Physics Residency; and Barbara-Ann Millar, Director of the Fellowship Program.

Chief trainees from each program also shared remarks on behalf of their peers. They expressed their appreciation for the guidance of their program directors and reflected on the mentorship, collaboration, and support that shaped their experience at UTDRO.

During their speeches, the graduates also recognized Andrea Bezjak, who is completing her time as Radiation Oncology Residency Director after serving two terms in the role, and Jennifer Croke, who stepped down earlier this year as Fellowship Director. On behalf of the UTDRO community, we would like to thank Andrea and Jennifer for their dedication, leadership, and the lasting impact they have had on the education and growth of trainees at UTDRO over the years.
